DBT Skills Training Program

12-Week Group Training for 

Emotional Resilience & Improved Relationships


Are emotions or impulsive behaviours interfering with your daily life and relationships? Thynk Therapi presents a 12-week virtual group training program designed to help Veterans, RCMP, and members of the Canadian Armed Forces build the life they want with improved emotional regulation skills, reduced impulsive reactions, and improved overall well-being. Spouses, partners, and adult children of VAC/RCMP/VAC members are also welcome.


This program provides 25 hours of structured skills training to help participants:


  • Manage extreme emotions and reduce impulsive behaviours


  • Enhance overall functioning and quality of life


  • Strengthen relationships through effective communication skills


  • Develop a deeper understanding of the physiological effects of trauma


This program comes at no cost to you. Fill out the form below and we will manage all authorizations. Once finalized, you will receive an email with the link to access the program!

Program Overview

What to Expect

This 12-week program consists of 25 hours of skills content presented on Zoom, scheduled as follows: Mondays at 10-12 pm AST, January 5 to March 23. All participants have access to all session recordings so you never have to miss a session!


This structured mental healthcare group therapy training integrates evidence-based strategies drawn from:


✔️ Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) – Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness


✔️ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – Resourcing techniques for nervous system regulation


✔️ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Strategies for building psychological flexibility


✔️ Somatic Experiencing (SE) – Trauma-informed body-based techniques

What You'll Get

  • 25 hours of expert-led, live instruction on managing PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Real talk, real strategies, and no judgment.


  • Practical tools from approaches like DBT, EMDR, ACT, SE, and more — so you actually know what to do.


  • Access to recordings of the live sessions in case you miss anything. Life gets busy!
