12-Week Group Training for Emotional Resilience
Are emotions or impulsive behaviours interfering with your daily life and relationships? Getting Your Life Back is a 12-week virtual group training designed to help veterans, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and RCMP officers build emotional regulation skills, reduce impulsive reactions, and improve overall well-being. This course is also open to the spouses, partners, and adult children of Veterans, CAF members, and RCMP officers.

This 12-week program consists of 24 hours of skills content, scheduled as follows: Mondays at 12-2 pm AST, March 31 to June 16
(Week 7 will be held on Wednesday, May 14)
This structured mental healthcare group therapy training integrates evidence-based strategies drawn from:
✔️ Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) – Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness
✔️ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – Resourcing techniques for nervous system regulation
✔️ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Strategies for building psychological flexibility
✔️ Somatic Experiencing (SE) – Trauma-informed body-based techniques
During this live 12-week program, participants will gain:
This program is designed for military members, veterans, and RCMP members looking to gain control over their emotions, improve relationships, and enhance emotional resilience. It is particularly beneficial for individuals managing:
✔️ Emotional regulation
✔️ Impulsivity and reactivity
✔️ Chronic stress or past trauma (PTSD)
✔️ Struggles with boundaries and communication
This program can be fully funded by your respective organization. Participants do not have to pay a penny. We take care of all authorizations and billing. All you have to do is contact us.
